Cassidy Nunn

I’ve been a horse fanatic since the age of three. My parents still don’t understand where this passion came from and seriously think their baby may have been switched at the hospital. I grew up in North Vancouver where access to horses was limited, but I begged relentlessly for riding lessons and by the time I was a teenager, I had a lease on a horse and spent nearly every day at the barn.
After high school, I moved to Victoria to begin my studies at the University of Victoria in Creative Writing.
I joined the Greenhawk team in 2008 and I consider myself extremely lucky to have a job I love in a “horsey” environment and to work with such amazing people. I do three day eventing and some natural horsemanship with my horse, Zappa, and my two dogs, Karma and Kieffer,who are usually by my side at the store.
I’m also a passionate photographer and my favourite subjects (surprise, surprise) are animals. I recently started my own photography business, Nunn Other Photography, and I sell my photo art cards at Greenhawk and am available to do private photo shoots. I finally graduated from UVic with a BA in Writing and Journalism, and I love to write, again, about horses!
